This is not your regular school for learning Shamanism, Curanderismo, and Ancient Healing and Spiritual Traditions. Although now we are able to offer certificates as proof that you have acquired this knowledge and practice; we do not give them away just as soon as you finish a class. We offer our certificates after the student has proven that he or she is “excellent” in his or her practice.
We offer classes for all levels, for different purposes, for different kind of students. We have students that want to improve their lives, others want to improve their professional practice, others want to reconnect with their heritage, others are looking for spiritual peace, many are just curious to learn something new ……
Our classes, workshops, programs, retreats and spiritual mentoring are to empower yourself by increasing your spiritual strength and awareness regardless of what spiritual path you walk. Each class is divided in theory, practice and may have a personal Spiritual Initiation to awaken your spiritual abilities.

Types of Classes and Workshops
Stand-alone Workshops
Prerequisite courses or knowledge is not required. Many of our students take these workshops because they are curious to learn more about the topic at hand or want a “feel” for our institute. We welcome and invite individuals to see if we are the right fit for them. All that is required is an open heart, an open mind, and good intentions.
Certificate Programs
Students desiring to add Shamanism, Curanderismo and other Ancient Healing and Spiritual techniques to enhance or expand services they offer their clients. Beginning courses instruct students how to strengthen their spiritual foundation which is essential to subsequent courses.
Spiritual Retreats
Several times a year we travel with our students to sacred locations in and outside the United States. Specific Shamanic or Curanderismo training and rite of passages need to be held in sacred locations. Certain retreats are limited to advanced students who are completing their Shamanic or Curandero training.
Private Classes
These classes and retreats are designed for students that want to go at their own pace or have a busy life and cannot join our regular classes.
Types of Students
Our curriculum has many tracks or avenues. You can take one track only or you can combine them. In order to know which classes you can take we divide our students into 5 types. In each class description, you will find what student level can attend that class.
- Beginners
Beginner students that are taking the basic classes and workshops and people that just want to take a class here and there - Intermediate
Students who have received a certificate from either Shamanism, Curanderismo, and Mother Earth Program (SCMT) or Spiritual Foundation Program and are ready to take the Curanderismo Initiation Workshop - Advanced
Students who have taken the Curanderismo Initiation Workshop and earned their certificate - Curanderos and Practitioners
Students that already have a professional practice with clients in spiritual practices - Instructors – Advanced students that are ready and qualified to teach our classes and just need training on the teaching part and their certificate
Class locations
- IISC Center: Our Ixtoii Institute of Shamanism and Curanderismo is located in Fresno, California, USA. It is here where we have most of our programs.
- In California and the US: We travel to different cities in California and other parts of the US bringing our workshops and private consultations too.
- In other countries: Usually, when we travel for our Spiritual Initiations and Retreats to other countries we offer classes for locals students as well.
- Online: Currently we are working on our online classes. We will offer 100% online in certain topics and hybrid classes in which you will be able to take the basic knowledge and practice online and then come to our physical location in California to finish your training and get your initiation ceremonies.
- Over the telephone: We offer one-on-one private classes over the telephone in English and Spanish.

Basic Spiritual Training
The Basics or Spiritual Foundation that every person that has a spiritual practice should master. It doesn’t matter which is our own spiritual path or religion, we must learn how to protect ourselves, how to connect with our angels, spirit guides and protectors and how to cleanse from unwanted energies.
Ancient Healing Traditions
Energy Healing, Crystal Therapy, Sacred Spiritual Oils, Mexican Spiritual Psychic Surgery, Spiritual Cleansings, Guided Meditations for healing and improving our life, etc.
Herbology
Use of plants for spiritual or healing purposes.
On-going classes
Classes (a la carte) that are offered for your own development.
Mentoring for Practitioners, Shamans, and Curanderos
Mentoring for Practitioners, Shamans, and Curanderos that already have a practice and wish to add more spiritual tools and techniques to offer to their clients.
Unity Program
This is a one-on-one program in which for a week you get an intense training about everything: spiritual matters for your house, family and work, diet, exercise, how to sleep, how to meditate, how, where and when to do your spiritual practices, personal spiritual healing practices, etc.
