One way to know if your altar is working
In our tradition, Curanderismo or Mexican Shamanism, when we set up our altar for ceremony many times we add a glass that has different waters and other ingredients. We believe that after the ceremony if the glass has bubbles, it means that:
- Our altar is working
- We really connect to our spiritual helpers
- That our prayers were heard, and they are on their way
Yesterday we did a ceremony to celebrated Mother Earth/Nonantzin/Virgen de Guadalupe and when we were done, everyone had bubbles in their glasses. That makes me very happy. That means that the students are really working on developing their spiritual strength and are having good results.
Our ceremonies are not community ceremonies. They are individual ceremonies. They are to help students develop their spiritual strength so they can do their practices by themselves. Also, ceremonies help students to grow spiritually so they can manifest the life as they want it.
*Paloma Cervantes has a private practice as Curandera and also she teaches this tradition. If you have any questions or want to know more about the program please contact us
You can get tools and products for spiritual practices on our online store Curandero Products. Many of our products are not posted but if you are looking for something specific please send us an email to hola@palomacervantes.com. Our products are prepared during special ceremonies during the year, which means that sometimes we don’t have them and you may need to wait until we have that ceremony again.
*When possible, our products are wildcrafted in sacred spiritual lands with permission or organically grown. We support local artisans and indigenous people by making them our first choice when getting our products.
